The Amazon Environmental Research Institute (IPAM Amazonia) is a scientific, non-governmental organization working to sustain the development of the Amazon rainforest. We aim to promote science, education, and innovation for an environmentally healthy, economically prosperous, and socially fair Amazon. IPAM Amazonia has historically promoted environmental protection and sports initiatives, particularly cycling. Every year, IPAM supports science bike expeditions, making measurements and giving opportunities to stakeholders to voice their thoughts about the future of Amazon and the planet.
