ATP and Nitto Extend Partnership to 2030, Signalling Long-Term Vision for Sustainable Sport

20 March 2026

The ATP and Nitto Denko Corporation have confirmed a multi-year extension of their partnership through to 2030, reinforcing one of the most established and strategically aligned relationships in global sport.

ATP and Nitto Extend Partnership to 2030, Signalling Long-Term Vision for Sustainable Sport

Under the renewed agreement, Nitto will continue as Gold Partner of the ATP Tour and Title Partner of the Nitto ATP Finals, the season-ending showcase of men’s professional tennis.

The extension reflects more than continuity. It signals a partnership that has evolved from traditional sponsorship into a long-term platform for innovation, fan engagement, and increasingly, sustainability.

From Sponsorship to Strategic Platform

Since first becoming Title Partner in 2017, Nitto has played a central role in the growth of the ATP Finals, supporting its transition from London to Turin and helping attract over one million fans across that period.

Momentum continues to build. Following Jannik Sinner’s victory in 2025, early demand for the 2026 Finals has surged, with over 100,000 tickets already sold—an increase of more than 30% compared to the same point in 2024.

These figures underline the commercial strength of the event, but also its growing cultural relevance within the global sporting calendar.

Embedding Sustainability at the Core

Central to the partnership’s next phase is a shared commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles. The Nitto ATP Finals recently achieved ISO 20121:2024 certification, reflecting a structured and measurable approach to sustainable event management.

This is not simply a compliance milestone. It represents a broader shift towards embedding sustainability into the operational DNA of major sporting events—from planning through to legacy.

Initiatives such as the Nitto ATP Finals Innovation Summit bring together stakeholders to explore practical sustainability solutions, while the Torino Green Project focuses on reducing emissions and strengthening local environmental impact. Community engagement also remains central, with partnerships supporting local charities and inclusive participation.

“Nitto has been our trusted partner for almost a decade. Their commitment has helped make the ATP Finals a world-class experience for fans and players alike. They’ve also fully embraced sustainability, leading the way in building an event that drives real, positive change.” Eno Polo, CEO, ATP

A Shared Vision for Impact

ATP CEO Eno Polo framed the extension as both a validation of the partnership’s success and a platform for future progress:

“Nitto has been our trusted partner for almost a decade. Their commitment has helped make the ATP Finals a world-class experience for fans and players alike. They’ve also fully embraced sustainability, leading the way in building an event that drives real, positive change.”

For Nitto, the partnership reflects deeper organisational alignment. President and CEO Hideo Takasaki emphasised the cultural and strategic parallels between sport and business:

“Since 2017, we have supported players striving for excellence, recognising parallels with our own Global Niche Top™ strategy. Their pursuit of challenges has inspired our organisation and strengthened our culture.”

Expanding the Ecosystem

Beyond the Finals, Nitto is extending its presence across the ATP ecosystem, including becoming an Official Partner of the Japan Open in Tokyo and maintaining year-round visibility across tour platforms and medical timeouts.

This expanded footprint reinforces a clear direction: partnerships are no longer confined to single events, but operate as integrated, multi-market platforms.

A Model for the Future of Partnerships

As the ATP Finals remain anchored in Turin through the next cycle, this renewed agreement provides both stability and a testing ground for what modern sports partnerships can become.

The challenge now is one increasingly familiar across sport: turning ambition into measurable impact.

If delivered effectively, this partnership may not only shape the future of tennis—but offer a broader blueprint for how sport can create long-term value for fans, partners, and society as a whole.
