Re-uz becomes official supporter of Paris 2024
Reusable products brand Re-uz has become an official supporter of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Re-uz will provide reusable and responsible food cups and containers, helping organisers to achieve one of the Games’ priority commitments – to have a circular economy approach.
The company will also provide a deposit system, promoting the return of re-usable cups and containers. Re-uz will work on the logistics, delivery and washing of the containers.
Philippe Berthe, Chief Executive of Re-uz, said: “We are very proud to partner with the world’s largest sporting event. This represents a unique opportunity to be able to demonstrate our know-how. This partnership is part of a global goal for us: to raise awareness of the ecological impact of sports events and to accompany as many people as possible towards re-employment.”
Tony Estanguet, President of Paris 2024, added: “We are pleased to welcome Re-uz to the team of Official Supporters of Paris 2024. Since the beginning of the project, we have wanted to promote a new model of events – more responsible, especially from the point of view of respect for the environment.
“By proposing re-use solutions during the Paris 2024 Games and by contributing to the continuation of these ways of doing things during future sporting events, the partnership with Re-uz comes to life very concretely to this ambition. Thank you, and welcome to the adventure of the Paris 2024 Games.”
