Session 1 – Grassroots sports: Driving Social Change and Inclusion
This webinar will be focused on Grassroot Sport. The panel will discuss how local sports programmes are more than just games – they’re vital tools for community building, promoting inclusivity, and enhancing overall well-being. Our expert panellists will share their experiences and strategies for creating sustainable and impactful sports initiatives. We aim to inspire and inform, showcasing the essential role of grassroots sports in society.
Session 2 – Sustainability and communication: the conflict between long-term strategy and the need for a quick win.
If you want your sustainability projects to be successful in the long term, you need the support of various stakeholders right from the start. Petra Himmel, founder of Golf Sustainable, uses the example of golf to show what the right communication structure can look like.
Session 3 – The importance of strategic approach to sustainability in European football clubs
Recent development in European regulation is going to be a changemaker in the way football addresses sustainability. The combination of EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and UEFA Sustainability Requirements is requiring football clubs to approach sustainability in a more strategic and holistic way, making it an integral part of their daily business.
