Session 1 – The Power of the Athlete.
How are athletes using their postions as current or former athletes to raise awareness of the need to think and act more sustainably? Mike Laflin talks to three athlete’s, two current and one former, about their actions on three different continents: Africa, North America and Oceania, and how one ex-athlete has teamed up with a scientist for a 9-month cycle ride from Alaska to Patagonia following the route of migratory birds.
