Grace, a seasoned professional with a distinguished career in the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), excels in designing effective governance systems and advancing the inclusion agenda. Renowned for her innovative solutions in equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), she has spearheaded remarkable initiatives both internally and externally, fostering community engagement and raising awareness of the criminal justice process. Grace’s leadership roles in diversity and equality networks, including the CPS National Black Crown Prosecution Association (NBCPA) and the Civil Service Race Forum (CSRF), highlight her influence in driving systemic change. Notably, she established the Criminal Justice Race Networks Alliance (CJRNA) and Carbonado Consultancy, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to addressing societal challenges. Her consultancy specialises in creative Corporate Social Responsibility with impact.
She empowers clients to enhance their community impact and brand recognition through a wide range of innovative solutions. These include culturally intelligent community engagement activities and bespoke cross-generational enrichment programmes, all embedded in principles of equity, belonging, and inclusion.
Grace’s exceptional contributions earned her an MBE in 2018, showcasing her outstanding service and unwavering dedication to community engagement. Grace currently holds the position of non-executive Director at Loughborough University Students’ Union.
