The agency ACT AGENCY, whose managing director is Birgit Ballhause, make its mark with projects such as the Windsurf World Cup on Sylt, the Kitesurf World Cup in Sankt Peter-Ording and SUP World Cups in Hamburg and Scharbeutz. These sports were developed with the agency and the international events are the largest in the world in their respective sports. But Birgit Ballhause’s career has also been characterised by football projects. She accompanied the German Football Association with the women’s and men’s national teams during many tournaments for the client REWE and developed a purpose-driven sponsorship concept that focussed on the topic of nutrition. For over 10 years, the agency’s focus has been on sustainability and, in particular, the combination of sport and sustainability. The highlight in 2019 was the realisation of the GreenSeven Summit on the occasion of the Windsurf World Cup Sylt, where top-class scientists brought the topic of climate change and its consequences directly closer to the audience.
