UN Sports for Climate Action fan survey launched
A global fan survey has been launched as part of the United Nations Sports for Climate Action initiative.
The #BiggerThanTheGame survey aims to explore topics such as collective identity in sports, the economic situation fans find themselves in, and the role of sports in building communities and resilience.
The survey will also seek to uncover the influence of sports on shaping cultural and community values.
The survey will remain open until October 5.
“This initiative aims to understand the potential of sports clubs and organisations in inspiring fans like you to engage with sustainable development and climate action,” the survey organisers stated.
“Your participation in this survey will provide valuable insights into your connection with sports, your living circumstances, views on climate action, and the potential influence of sports-led initiatives on your attitudes and behaviours towards climate change.
“This information will be crucial in helping us develop strategies for sports clubs and organisations to effectively promote climate awareness and action among their fans and the wider community.”
