UEFA Euros and Deutsche Bahn team up on travel
Railway company Deutsche Bahn has partnered with UEFA Euro 2024 to offer travel deals across Europe to fans and participating football teams.
All 24 teams and ticket-holders from 32 European countries will be able to enjoy the eco-friendly travel by train, at reduced prices, to the 10 venues in Germany during the tournament.
UEFA Euro 2024 will run between June 14 and July 14, 2024.
Match ticket-holders that wish to travel within Germany will be able to purchase discounted national long-distance tickets for their trip via Deutsche Bahn. For those travelling from outside Germany, a discounted Euro 2024 InterRail pass will be available.
"The partnership with Deutsche Bahn underlines our aspiration as hosts for a sustainable UEFA Euro 2024."
This will be valid for a round-trip from 32 European countries to Germany. It will also include unlimited national journeys using the Deutsche Bahn long-distance service.
Tournament Director Philipp Lahm explained: “Europe is on the move and connected. The partnership with Deutsche Bahn underlines our aspiration as hosts for a sustainable UEFA Euro 2024. Under the motto ‘United by football. United in the heart of Europe’, we want to facilitate unforgettable memories and create a pioneering spirit for a new sense of community, a new togetherness for Europe and our society.”
Travel tickets will be available from mid-January next year, following the sale of match tickets which begin on October 3, 2023.
