The RFEK adheres to the COE Sustainability Manifesto

The president of the Spanish Olympic Committee, Alejandro Blanco, and the president of the Royal Spanish Karate Federation, Antonio Moreno, have signed this Thursday at the headquarters of the Olympic entity the COE Sustainability Manifesto.

The RFEK adheres to the COE Sustainability Manifesto

With the signing of this document, the RFEK joins this initiative of the Spanish Olympic Committee to develop, implement and improve the sustainable development agenda in sport through the nine lines of action that are part of the COE’s sustainability strategy : Health and Wellbeing, Sustainable Mobility, Energy Efficiency, Gender Equality, Circular Economy, Digital Transformation, Education and Awareness, Water and Social Action.

The objective of this project, of which the RFEF, RFEN, RFEH, RFEA and RFHE are also part, is to promote collaboration in the Spanish Olympic movement in terms of environmental and social sustainability, so that it is more sustainable, contributing to the construction of a better world through sport and a greater social awareness regarding sustainability.

In this way, the Royal Spanish Karate Federation becomes part of the COE Group #SomosDeporteSustainable, a group to which all Spanish sports organizations that want to implement the Paris Agreement, the Sustainable Development Goals and accelerate change can join. necessary to achieve sustainable development.
