Aggreko, a provider of temporary energy solutions, has been appointed as the official energy transition solutions provider for the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 in England. Aggreko will provide temporary electricity generation and delivery systems, temporary battery, solar and energy storage systems, as well as support with operations, maintenance and repairs for all host venues.
British Judo has partnered with FabLittleBag to make this year’s British Championships the first-ever ‘period-supportive’ edition. The partnership with FabLittleBag, which produces eco-friendly period bags, aims to normalise conversations around periods and ensure there are no barriers around participating in sport.
Winners from each round of the 2024 LTA Pledge League helped to save 200 tonnes of CO2 emissions between June and September. In total, players and members of tennis clubs and venues across Britain pledged to save more than 1,420 tonnes of emissions – the equivalent of driving 3.1 million miles in an average petrol-fuelled car.
Hydrogen-powered motorsport championship Extreme H has extended its deal with Italian broadcast partner Mediaset. Extreme H follows in the footsteps of Extreme E – an all-electric off-road racing series. Mediaset has been a key broadcast provider of Extreme E in Italy over the last four seasons.
Over 200 girls were able to discover the joy of playing football in Montenegro, thanks to the UEFA Playmakers programme. The scheme empowers young girls aged between five and eight years old by combining football skills with beloved Disney characters to make it more relatable. In November, the Football Association of Montenegro hosted its inaugural Playmakers festival with specialised coaches.

Isotonic sports drink POWERADE has launched The Athletes Code, a commitment to a more inclusive and progressive relationship with partner athletes to support their mental wellbeing.
