The new deal will see a focus on promoting sustainability and placing the environment at the forefront of the Italian club’s operations.

Enel will appear on the pitch at the 41,507-capacity Allianz Stadium, and across big screens, LEDs as well as backdrops for interviews.

“We are very pleased to announce this partnership, which links us to a great Italian company that operates globally, like us,” commented Francesco Calvo, Managing Director of Revenue & Institutional Relations at Juventus.

"We are fully convinced that Enel is the ideal partner to help the club pursue the lofty goals it has set for itself in terms of sustainability, which garners our attention on a daily basis.” Francesco Calvo, Managing Director of Revenue & Institutional Relations at Juventus

“This is a common bond between our two organisations, driving us to face the challenges that await us. We are fully convinced that Enel is the ideal partner to help the club pursue the lofty goals it has set for itself in terms of sustainability, which garners our attention on a daily basis.”

Nicolò Mardegan, Head of External Relations at Enel, added: “It is incredibly satisfying to become the official energy partner of one of the most important and winningest teams in Italy, with whom we share strong synergies in the name of sustainability.

“Juventus and Enel are winning examples of organisations Made in Italy that create value. This is thanks to the passion of millions of fans and the constant commitment of our Group, which generates and brings cleaner energy to the whole of Italy every day through intelligent, modern networks and essential infrastructures that guarantee the country’s energy security and independence.”

Juventus is not the only Italian side to interweave sustainable practices into its operations. Earlier this year, Udinese collaborated with its stadium naming-rights partner Bluenergy to install 2,400 solar panels.
