EuroLeague Basketball welcomes green partner in Turkey

EuroLeague Basketball has signed a three-year deal with Enerjisa Commodities, which will become its official green partner in Turkey.

The deal has been agreed to start from the current 2023-24 season through to the 2025-26 campaign.

Turkey has been represented in the EuroLeague final in six of the past seven seasons.

Paulius Motiejunas, Chief Executive of EuroLeague Basketball, said: “Turkey is one of EuroLeague Basketball’s most important markets, with a large fan base, and it is very important for us to partner with a company to help developing and amplifying environmental consciousness.”

Enerjisa Commodities is the global trading arm of Turkey’s leading private sector energy generation company Enerjisa Uretim.

Enerjisa Commodities operates in more than 25 countries, active in power, gas, and environmental commodities.

As well as investing in renewable and sustainable energy, the organisation aims to create awareness among the public about the importance of green energy for a sustainable future.
