Enovation Consulting today consolidates its position within the football ecosystem by announcing its official membership of the United Nations (UN) initiative Football for the Goals. Drawing on sport as a powerful tool to inspire action to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), FFTG is a powerful lever for change; by joining its ranks, Enovation Consulting commits to advocating for the achievement of and implementing policies aligned with these goals.
Football for the Goals was launched by the UN on the first day of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022, with UEFA named as its inaugural member. Since then, confederations, federations, national associations, leagues, clubs, teams, charities, and many other stakeholders operating within the global football ecosystem have joined the initiative to raise awareness of the SDGs and develop sustainable practices.
Today’s announcement further cements Enovation Consulting’s commitment to supporting both men’s and women’s football on their journey towards decarbonisation, and to providing strategic insight on how to mobilise positive impact, informed by its work supporting clients across the football industry.
