Eco Advance signed up by Betis
Eco Advance, a company in the water treatment and ecological cleaning sector, has joined Forever Green, the environmental programme of Spanish LaLiga club Real Betis Balompié.
Through the collaboration, Eco Advance will provide cleaning systems with ozonated water for the disinfection and cleaning of the club’s facilities, as well as for laundry purposes.
Thanks to ozonated water generators, all cleaning products are eliminated and disinfected 300 times more than by using bleach.
Additionally, osmotic water sources have been installed for consumption in the Luis del Sol Sports City and in the office of Benito Villamarín Stadium. Betis has also installed water savers for taps to reduce usage by up to 40%.
Rafael Muela, Manager of the Royal Foundations Betis, said: “We are very happy to add a company as committed to the environment as Eco Advance to Forever Green. It will help us to keep our spaces clean without using chemical elements and with water dispensers. In addition to providing us with the healthiest water, it will mean the elimination of the use of plastic bottles in our facilities.”
César Muñiz Fernández, Head of Operations of Eco Advance, hailed the club’s sustainability credentials “at a national and international level”.
