Audi and FC Bayern committed to sustainability

Last week, executive board chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, executive board member Oliver Kahn and AUDI AG board member for sales and marketing Hildegard Wortmann officially unveiled a plan to construct 38 charging points at the training ground on Säbener Strasse. These are scheduled to go online in late summer, just in time for the start of the next Bundesliga season.

Electrification of the Audi vehicle fleet at FC Bayern

In the coming season, the German record champions’ first-team players will be seen out and about in the Audi e-tron, the brand’s first all-electric SUV, and will thereby play a pioneering role: By the autumn, more than half of FC Bayern’s Audi fleet will be electrified to further reduce the emissions of CO2. As a next step, Audi will also equip the Allianz Arena with charging points at the beginning of next year – from which fans and visitors to the stadium will also benefit.
