AS ROMA, UEFA FOUNDATION AND SEVILLA IN SUPPORT OF THE BUDAPEST COMMUNITY

The UEFA Europa League final represents a great opportunity for AS Roma to demonstrate once again its function as a social platform, which values ​​sport as a means of supporting equality, diversity, inclusion and fair play.

AS ROMA, UEFA FOUNDATION AND SEVILLA IN SUPPORT OF THE BUDAPEST COMMUNITY
For this reason, as was the case a year ago before the last act of the UEFA Europa Conference League in Tirana, the Club is collaborating with the UEFA Foundation and with Sevilla FC to carry out joint activities in Budapest, the host city the final.

The Company has worked on joint planning with a dual objective: on the one hand, AS Roma has worked to support the Budapest community to create a positive and lasting impact, and on the other, the Club has carried out sustainability activities to enhance football as a tool for the inclusion, accessibility and empowerment of the most fragile categories, taking into consideration, in parallel, the requests received by the UEFA Foundation.

Among the activities scheduled by the UEFA Foundation on Wednesday 31st at the Budapest Fan Festival, the Club took part together with Sevilla in a training session with the children of social organizations in Budapest, who were given gadgets. Furthermore, a commemorative jersey of the final was given to the UEFA Foundation and will be auctioned off: the proceeds will be donated to the UNHCR in Budapest. Again at the Fan Festival, AS Roma also gave gadgets to Ukrainian refugee children involved in the activities organized by the UEFA Foundation.

Among the various activities in support of the local community, on Tuesday a delegation from the Club visited a school on the outskirts of Budapest that welcomes children in disadvantaged conditions, an association that supports women who are victims of violence and the representation of a homeless soccer team, which recently won a trophy.

Initiatives that are part of the commitments undertaken by AS Roma, the first team to collaborate with UEFA with the aim of piloting the key aspects of the 2030 Football Sustainability Strategy.
